The Colorado Sound

This was an exiting project from nonprofits The Colorado Sound and KUNC, as Red Kite owner Debbie is a long-time listener!

The Colorado Sound, focused on independent music discovery, had launched their first website a year before using Tumblr, but Tumblr could no longer keep up with them. They came to Red Kite looking for a more flexible platform to serve music, keep listeners of their shows up to date, and increase user engagement.

We replaced the Google concert calendar with one they could manage in-site. We created a number of custom blog feeds for different purposes, and a new gallery they can easily expand. The new website serves as an extension of their on-air product.
