Colorado Academy of Family Physicians

Red Kite worked with the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians to create a new custom website in 2016. In 2023, they came to us again for a makeover.

We were happy to get to work on this site as it’s large and complex and it was really due for a more modern look and feel. In addition, converting to the now-default block editor has made it much easier for the CAFP team to edit and create content. The new custom site does a better job of presenting all the things CAFP offers, with access to top categories and content from the home page.

We were able to clean up the backend by removing a number of plugins that were no longer needed, which resulted in faster load times (also helped by our custom Kadence-based theme).
