American Salers Association
American Salers Association (AMA) came to us with a cattle association website similar to others we’d worked on in the past. The site was built in Joomla, an older content management system, which required that we do manual migration of all the content to WordPress. This also helped us start with a fresh clean site and database, so it worked out well.
The new site is far easier to edit than Joomla as its built with the default block editor – which also makes it fast. We migrated about 80 pages from Joomla and worked with the client to clean up formatting and improve the structure and architecture of the website to help members find what they need more easily.
We also helped with connecting a membership form to ecommerce so they could have new members sign up directly within the website. And we added an events plugin to help them manage their event calendar more easily and consistently.
