Q. How much does a website cost? |
A. That really depends - how many pages do you need? Do you want to be able to edit it yourself without having to know any code? Will you need a shopping cart, a blog, a forum or someplace to keep your photo collection? Give us a call or send an email and we'll be happy to discuss. |

Q. Who owns the rights to my website once it's launched? |
A. It really depends on the designer you're working with and the contract you signed (you did get a contract, didn't you?). If you work with Red Kite, you own the rights to the finished site. And you are always able to pick up and move on with little difficulty and no legal issues. |

Q. Why doesn't my site look the same in every browser? |
A. Because different browsers interpret the code that makes up your website in different ways - and newer browsers are more predictable than older versions. That's why it's important for your designer to test your site in a number of different browsers. At a minimum, a designer should test your site in Internet Explorer (6 and 7), Firefox, and Safari (for those Mac users). Opera and Netscape are also fairly common browsers. |

Q. How does SEO differ from PPC? |
A. SEO (search engine optimization) and PPC (pay-per-click) are two types of search engine marketing, or SEM. SEO concentrates on improving your site's organic (free) listings, while with PPC you bid for keywords against competitors and generally pay when a visitor clicks on an ad to visit your site. |
