The new version used X-Cart, an open source, PHP and MySQL e-commerce solution, to create a fast, database-driven catalog that was easy for the owners to manage and expand as needed. The new site took advantage of X-Cart's customization to enhance the ability of the owners to require wholesalers to register before viewing pricing or placing orders. It retained the clean whitespace of the former site, but added in warm, earthy colors and textures to reinforce the focus of the site - outdoor-themed products for the lodge or cabin.
